Touch, Full Screen, Triple Cam Recording
The s979 comes with a big 11.26 inches touch screen. It’s a perfect combination if you also install an optional rear camera and interior camera. Simply touch one of three vehicle icons on the screen for your preferred preview camera image.
 
Built-in 3-Axis G-Force Sensor
No one expects to get into a driving accident, but when it happens, the built-in G-force sensor can detect these events and trigger Emergency Video Recording mode. These emergency recordings are date and time-stamped as well as protected from loop recording overwrites.
 
Easy to Install and Use
The s979 is designed to fit over many existing rear view mirrors in seconds. The spring-loaded clips in combination with the mounting straps will ensure a secure installation. The lens is easily adjustable to adapt to the angle of the mirror. The car power adapter has a generous 3.5-meter cord that accommodates easy routing in almost any vehicle. Once installed, the s979 automatically begins recording when the vehicle starts and powers down when the vehicle is turned off.
 
Built-in Sony’s Starvis Sensor
The s979 is equipped with Sony’s Starvis sensor IMX307. It captures great video quality even in a low-light environment.
 
Timelapse Parking Mode
With parking mode enabled, the s979 will non-stop
record video in timelapse mode. This is a great
feature for a parking garage.
